Secret Arts of Crime Solving: The Rakshasa's Criminal Investigation Notes

Luo Sha, a criminal investigator versed in the secret art of the Soul-Guarding Formula, uses the power of pure yang to break curses and drive out evil. A list concealing deadly intent exposes the shocking plot of the Xuansheng Sect and the organization known as Xuan. To gather the fragments of the Suppression Cauldron and awaken their ancestors, the Xuan clan abuses hypnosis, curses, and netherworld arts, sacrificing the living to forge evil artifacts and turning the innocent into offerings to resentment.

From a soul-summoning formation in an abandoned factory on the outskirts of town to a secret realm of ice and fire atop Kunlun’s towering peaks, Luo Sha joins forces with the police to pursue the culprits at every turn: breaking the Three Yin curse, countering hypnotic sorcery, tracking fugitive practitioners across jurisdictions, destroying cult strongholds, and awakening the evil-suppressing divine artifact, the Xuanyang Mirror. He faces life-and-death battles against the likes of Xuanying, Xuanzhou, and the High Priest, all masters of dark arts. He witnesses the tragedy of righteous practitioners who succumb to hatred and fall into evil, yet holds fast to his belief that secret arts are neither good nor evil: what matters is the human heart.

This clash between good and evil, spanning a thousand years, intertwines battles of secret arts, the protection of cultural relics, and struggles over human nature. Wielding the righteousness of heaven and earth as his blade and the insight of criminal investigation as his shield, Luo Sha cuts through layer upon layer of deception, exposes the mastermind, rescues innocent hostages, and ultimately purifies resentment with justice, leaving evil spirits nowhere to hide. Every page of his case notes is engraved with his unshakable conviction: “Stand by justice, and you can suppress every evil under heaven.”
