The Nation Helps Me Build Across Dimensions

Just as Su Wanwan is on the verge of bankruptcy, she discovers that her noodle shop has become a transfer station between worlds.

An elven queen trades the Water of Life for a bowl of plain noodles, and the withered royal garden bursts into bloom. An apocalypse commander trades zombie cores for a spoonful of chili oil, which actually awakens supernatural powers and turns the tide of battle. She packages The Art of War as an “ancient cookbook” and sells it to a star marshal, helping him snatch victory from defeat. The promise of “reunion” behind a box of mooncakes gives an otherworldly archmage the inspiration to overcome his bottleneck.

Business is booming, but she has also attracted the attention of the state’s secret department. Its director respectfully presents her with an ID and military insignia. “Comrade Su Wanwan, the State Office for Otherworldly Civilization Exchange has officially been established. We invite you to serve as our chief advisor.”

From then on, trade between planes becomes a matter of national strategy. Rune technology from a magical continent is used to power China’s quantum computers; crystal-core energy from an apocalyptic wasteland solves the motherland’s electricity crisis; and blueprints for a star empire’s fleet pave the way for the dragon race’s journey into deep space.

As Su Wanwan sits in her noodle shop, reviewing the “Construction Plan for a Confucius Institute in Elven Lands,” she knows that the journey to peacefully conquer countless planes through food and culture has only just begun.
