Shadow on the Eerie Path: The Sequence Summoner

When an eerie "Fog" suddenly descends upon the post-apocalyptic world, cities fall into hellscapes overrun by strange creatures. Lin Mo witnesses his family and friends die horrific deaths. While fleeing, he awakens the "Shadow Mark," an ability that lets him summon shadow units to fight. From then on, he embarks on a struggle to survive against the strange creatures.

Driving a modified Land Cruiser, he kills monsters to obtain "Shadow Cores" and advance through the ranks, from Shadow Servant and Shadow Guard to Shadow Lord and Shadow God. Meanwhile, he gathers key allies, including mechanics, medics, and sequence sensitives, and forms the Shadow Squad. The team grows stronger as it faces everything from rival groups of independent survivors to the Corrupted Road Worms, strange creature lords, and massive monster hordes.

When Lin Mo uncovers the truth in the Shadow Ruins that the Fog is an experiment by an alien civilization, he also faces the arrival of the "Observers," who intend to destroy humanity. He unites the various forces and forms a resistance army, with the Shadow Legion at its core. Driving a vehicle that has evolved into a "Strange Road Fortress," he ultimately destroys the heart of the Fog, repels the alien threat, and leads humanity toward rebuilding on the ruins.
