A High-Stakes Game: The Wolf of Wall Street and His Red-Circle Prey

“Be my lawyer. Your annual salary is ten million, provided you can win.”

He was the wolf of Wall Street, and I was the hunting dog he hired at great expense.

By day, we clashed in the conference room. At night, he whispered in my ear, “You disobedient dog, tell me: who’s really training whom?”

I dealt with one enemy after another for him, until he pushed a top-secret file from a rival company across the table to me.

“Take care of it, by any means necessary.”

I looked at him and finally bared my fangs. “Lu Jingyan, you forgot: a hunting dog’s loyalty is only there so it can bite its master when it matters most.”
