On a rainy night, a solitary boy brings home an injured pink kitten and names her Tangtang.
He never imagined that overnight, the kitten would transform into a naive catgirl. From then on, he is forced to become her “caretaker,” teaching her everything about human life from scratch. With a cat’s instincts and a child’s innocence, Tangtang turns his lonely world upside down. She crawls into his bed in the middle of the night to seek warmth, writes his name on scraps of paper to show her affection, and gets into all kinds of trouble because she doesn’t understand social conventions.
Yet her pure dependence gradually reaches the most secret corners of his heart. Night after night, he gazes at her sleeping face, utterly unguarded, while his reason is torn between devoted protection and desires that cross a line. Tangtang, meanwhile, is confused by this “heavy love,” caught between the stirrings of her body and the innocence of her heart.
This is a story about two lonely souls finding warmth in each other. As a caretaker’s love for his pet quietly changes, and pure dependence begins to demand a unique and exclusive devotion, where will the dangerous yet sweet bond they have woven together lead?
