After dying suddenly, Jiang He transmigrates to 1946.
The good news: he is the leader of his generation of the Xiling Raiders, commanding bandits across more than a dozen provinces, and a major general in the Nationalist Army.
The bad news: he has already been arrested and thrown in prison. He only transmigrated after his previous host was poisoned to death.
Still reeling from the shock, Jiang He notices that some of the people in the prison look familiar. The warden is Jin Hai from New World, and his memories include Zhang Qishan from The Lost Tomb and Zheng Yaoxian from Kite.
Jiang He searches through his memories and realizes that he has transmigrated into a world where characters from various films and TV dramas coexist. The Japanese have only recently been driven out. He was arrested for refusing to send troops to suppress the Communists, and the Nationalist Army has given him an ultimatum: agree to send troops within a week, or face punishment.
How can he turn this situation around? And how can he make something of himself in this era?
