In 2024, I was laid off, unemployed, and stuck with a mortgage of over a million. My future looked bleak. Then the Jiefang truck my grandfather left me took me straight back to 1938 with one press of the accelerator on a stormy night!
The truck’s tank is always full, its body repairs itself, and its cargo compartment connects to a modern warehouse covering a thousand square meters!
The base is short on medicine? I bring in a truckload of penicillin and Yunnan Baiyao, snatching people from the King of Hell himself! The soldiers are living on chaff and wild greens? I pile up compressed rations and canned luncheon meat so they can eat meat every meal! Commander Li is desperate for heavy firepower? I quietly drive back to the present, then return three days later with two brand-new Italian cannons!
I started out as a selfish small-time trader who only wanted to sell gold and pay off my mortgage. But after witnessing the Japanese invaders massacre an entire village, I finally woke up. I, Lu Yuan, will bring the flood of modern industrial steel to this suffering nation and blast open a broad road to victory!
Commander Li: “In my whole life, I, Li Yunlong, have never respected anyone except Lu Yuan! Damn it, that truck has everything!”
Gangcun: “Capture that ‘Red Tycoon’ alive at all costs! He poses a greater threat than ten divisions!”
