The State Assigned Me a Girlfriend, But No One Said They'd All Be Ex-Girlfriends!

[Lighthearted Comedy + Everyday Romance + Sweet Love Story + Mild Love Triangle Drama + Assigned Girlfriends + Third-Person Narration]

In an era of declining birth rates, the government passes a law assigning men their ex-girlfriends. They are forced to live together and hold hands on the first day, kiss after a week, and get married after three months.

Jiang Yan is a spoiled rich second-generation playboy who throws his weight around and uses threats and bribes to make his younger schoolmates and senior classmates date him.

After his family goes bankrupt, he changes his name and hides from his ex-girlfriends’ revenge, turning over a new leaf and focusing on his studies.

But just after he gets into college, the government begins assigning people partners. The most outrageous part is that every single woman he’s assigned is one of his ex-girlfriends!

The poor campus beauty he used to keep as a mistress has become his boss.

The fiancée he humiliated and cheated on has become his academic advisor.

The childhood sweetheart he abandoned has become his creditor.

His world is falling apart!

Just as Jiang Yan gives up resisting and waits for them to humiliate him, they say:

“Wait, aren’t you supposed to be humiliating me? Why are you all fighting to have my babies?”
