The Strange Immortal Buddha

After transmigrating to a bizarre Buddhist world, he finds that cultivation depends entirely on "devouring karma." Li Meipu, a veteran patient who cultivated in a mental hospital in his previous life, awakens in the body of a little novice whose cheeks have split from grinning over "blissful karma."

Here, a rotten Buddha statue might be "preaching through microorganisms," while a master covered in oozing sores may have "perfected his merit." Armed with the [Manic Laughter Zen System], which lets him see and comment on karmic afflictions, he embarks on a deranged path of cultivation through "devouring karma." Digest "sloth karma," and he can lie flat and turn invisible on the spot. Devour "envy karma," and he can make an opponent's magic treasure defect right before their eyes.

While everyone else trembles in fear before the grotesque, Li Meipu gazes at his master with pious devotion. "Master, those sores are all relics of the Buddha. Hurry up and spit them into my mouth. Don't waste such valuable knowledge!"

This is the story of a madman's path to Buddhahood. Watch Li Meipu devour all the world's karmic afflictions and laugh the bodhi of the heavens to pieces with his solemnly delivered nonsense!
