My Youth Romantic Comedy Is Still Wrong, as I Expected

When Hachiman Hikigaya, who calls himself a “lonely philosopher,” meets the quick-thinking, high-energy “dynamic agent” Shinnosuke Nohara, the quiet of Sobu High School’s Service Club is shattered for good. One protects others through self-destruction; the other stirs up everyday life with his light beams. One pursues something “genuine” even at the cost of breaking ties, while the other may seem like a clown but always gets to the heart of the matter. With Yukino Yukinoshita’s sharp tongue and Yui Yuigahama’s warmth, the youthful tale of four troubled boys and girls is destined to be complicated from the moment they meet. This is a story about twisted kindness, awkward growth, and finding genuine bonds between people in the most “dynamic” way possible.
