Commander, Your Little Sweetheart Has Arrived

[Adorable little mermaid vs. scheming commander]

Every character has room to grow, and none of them is perfect. Expect a bit of melodrama, along with lots and lots of original worldbuilding! A romance between two men!

There’s a baby, too!!!

They’re both in love, but one doesn’t realize it, while the other knows exactly how he feels and gradually lures him in.

Yu Xing is a mermaid. He was caught as soon as he came ashore, then rescued by someone. Knowing nothing about the world, Yu Xing attached himself to his rescuer because he thought the man was a good person.

As the commander-in-chief of the Marine Life Protection Center, Xie Changqian is responsible for keeping marine life safe. So he did his duty and rescued a mermaid from someone else. He planned to release the mermaid back into the ocean and be done with it, but the mermaid became attached to him instead.

What he never expected was that rescuing a mermaid would end with him getting caught up in the whole thing himself.

Yu Xing: Thank you, good person.

Xie Changqian: You’re welcome. It was the right thing to do.

Yu Xing: I’m going to stay with you from now on, good person.

Xie Changqian: I’m not a good person. And you shouldn’t stay with me. You should go back to the ocean.

Yu Xing: I don’t want to go back to the ocean. I want to stay with you.

Later...

Xie Changqian: Yu Xing, stay by my side.

After all their twists and turns, it had always been you.
