Zhou Chen, the chief medical examiner of modern times, was conducting a DNA test on an ancient cultural relic (a "bone needle" suspected to be an ancient coroner), when a bizarre energy overload explosion occurred in the laboratory. His soul was drawn into the vortex of time and space, and traveled to the fictional Zhou Dynasty.
