The Li Family at the Foot of Yuxu Peak: Taking the Clan Chief’s Seal from the Mourning Hall

In Qinghai Town, south of Bifeng Island in the South Sea, lies the utterly unremarkable Li clan, a family of cultivators.

With a legacy spanning barely three hundred years, the clan has never had more than one Foundation Establishment cultivator at a time. Its reserves amount to less than a thousand spirit stones, and resources are so scarce that even respectable female cultivators refuse to marry into the family. In the relentless currents of the cultivation world, the clan is like a candle guttering in the wind. Everyone thinks it won’t last much longer.

That changed when Li Qingyan, the fifth clan leader, took the throne, finally breaking the deadlock.

The clan members gradually noticed that the spiritual energy in their leyline was growing richer, and they no longer had to ration their cultivation resources. Their cultivation, stagnant for years, began to advance by leaps and bounds. Even more astonishing, beautiful female cultivators who once wanted nothing to do with the Li clan were now vying to marry into it.

Years later, every Li clan descendant had ascended to the peak of cultivation, gazing down upon the boundless world. One of them swept a hand across ten thousand miles of territory and thundered across the heavens: “From this day forth, throughout the Myriad Worlds, all things beneath the heavens shall be nothing but Li clan territory!”
