The Ancient Tomb Courier

There are “Netherworld Couriers” whose sole duty is to deliver “ancient tomb debt contracts” to the living. The resentment of those who died unjustly in their tombs condenses into these contracts. If they are not retrieved and delivered, that resentment will spill back into the human world. But the contracts themselves carry a soul-devouring curse, and anyone who picks one up will be gradually consumed by the resentment. If it were you, how would you solve this riddle trapped in a cycle of life and death?
