Li Mo, a nineteen-year-old from a rural village in the northwest, came to Shanghai all by himself. During his first months in the big city, unfamiliar with his surroundings and unable to find a suitable job, he spent every day at an internet cafe playing games. His favorite game back then was Audition, and he was a top player. One day, as usual, Li Mo walked from his rented room to a nearby internet cafe. When he turned on the computer, he noticed a young man in his early twenties sitting beside him, wearing dark green glasses, his hair fluffy and untidy. The young man was playing a game Li Mo had never seen before. Li Mo watched so intently that he forgot to sit down. From that moment on, we’ll witness the competitive journey of a future legend, from apprentice to icon!
