The protagonist, Lin Qi, is a neuroscientist who lost his family in a car accident. In the depths of his grief, a “limiter” in his brain unexpectedly loosens, and he begins to “see” data streams flowing through the air like DNA’s double helix. They are real-time data links used by the “Observers” to monitor Earth. He becomes a “glitch,” an “invisible man” under System surveillance.
