Synopsis
A broken sigil embedded in his breastbone; even a withered skeleton can shine.
A Gu was once the lowliest bone-carving apprentice in Blackstone City. Born with a fragment of a sigil, he was considered ill-omened and struggled to survive in the mud. Then an accident awakened the Wheel Fragment in his chest. He was, in fact, the orphaned child of a Deva and an Asura, bearing a secret that could shatter the balance of the Three Realms.
A Dragon Princess arrives seeking the secrets of dragon bone, while an amnesiac Yaksha vows to protect him with her life. When his bone-carving knife cuts his fingertip, using blood for ink and bone for paper, he finally glimpses the truth of the Way of Bone-Carved Sigils: in the Inscription Realm, one draws in qi and condenses it into sigils; in the Bone-Fusion Realm, one forges sigils and communes with the divine; in the Wheel Realm, one can shatter the illusions of memory; and when the eight clans’ sigils unite, even the workings of Heaven can be reversed.
The Devas monopolize the legacy, Mo Houluo uses venomous parasites to devour bone, and the Shanhai Merchant Guild secretly maneuvers its pieces. The order of the Three Realms teeters on the brink. Wielding a bone blade, A Gu fights his way from the Cave of Withered Bones to Lingxiao City, gathers the sigils of all living beings from the Sea of Memories at Guixu, and bears the fortune of the eight clans in his mixed-blood body.
Those who once bullied and humiliated him will all become dry bones beneath his blade; those who seek to overthrow the Three Realms will be buried in his sigil formation. Watch as he uses a fragment to complete Heaven’s design and carves the heavenly edict anew with bone sigils, blazing an unprecedented path against fate amid the struggles of all races!
