[Unhinged, forceful top VS clear-headed, self-interested bottom] [Two male leads + forced love + stand-in romance + wife-chasing crematorium]
The ending isn’t finished. Don’t read!!!!
Early on:
For the money, Shen Qing’an willingly becomes a stand-in for Lu Yanzhao’s white moonlight.
“You need a more obedient, more sensible shadow,” Shen Qing’an says.
“I want absolute loyalty. You’ll come whenever I call.” Lu Yanzhao gives him a contract and a bank card.
After Shen Qing’an successfully gets into his bed:
Wait, this is nine-tenths wrong. Wasn’t I supposed to be the stand-in? How did I become the white moonlight?
“Shen Qing’an, once you’re aboard a pirate ship, there’s no getting off.” If money can keep you tied to me, then so be it. Lu Yanzhao has plenty of it anyway.
Midway through:
Lu Yanzhao has everything in this life, except he’s never been loved. He can do anything, but he doesn’t know how to make someone stay.
“Hate lasts longer than love,” he says.
Even if keeping you means imprisoning you and making you suffer, struggle, and resent me, I’ll still keep you here.
“Shen Qing’an, I’m going to torment you for the rest of your life, until we die.”
Later on:
“Will you marry me?” Lu Yanzhao’s hot tears roll down his cheeks and fall onto Shen Qing’an’s knees. “I don’t want it anymore. I don’t want any of it. I only want you.”
“Get lost!”
The day Lu Yanzhao finds Shen Qing’an, he immediately books a flight abroad to get married, afraid that if he waits even one second, Shen Qing’an will run away again.
