Douluo Dalu: My Martial Soul Is a Bug

A disclaimer first: the protagonist is a villain.

Yang Lin: Heh heh heh. As soon as he finished speaking, Yang Lin began to chant:

From youth I knew the world was harsh,

Yet still I let the wild geese soar through clouds.

Cold winds along the road, my body light as fluff,

Alone, a wanderer adrift in life's sea.

Tempered a thousand times, my heart turned to iron,

I poured all my strength into forging a sword.

Today my sword points toward the clouds,

Devouring bone, devouring people, devouring heaven.

Yang Lin transmigrates to Douluo Dalu and awakens a Martial Soul that turns out to be a bug. Having read the original novel, he knows Tang San is destined to become a god. He follows Tang San around like a dog, only to be scorned by him, and eventually becomes a powerhouse through his own hard work.
