[Cang Yuan fan fiction + Yan pairing + OOC warning + Chuan and Yue stay together + tons of headcanons!] If you don’t like it, please don’t read. My writing isn’t great, so please don’t flame me. I may not be much of a writer, but I know a little bit of martial arts. I’m a peace-loving person, though, and just hope everyone can enjoy reading together. Hehe, I’ll stop rambling now. Read on below ↓ Sang Ling is a genius witchcraft saintess who lives in secret in Qingwu Abyss, a forbidden area of Mount Primordial Beginning. Raised there from childhood, she is filled with curiosity about the outside world. But her great-grandmother tells her that the God Venerable said the outside world is full of terrifying demons, and that Qingwu Abyss is safe. She tells Sang Ling to focus on her cultivation and forbids her from leaving. Sang Ling assumes her great-grandmother is just making it up to keep her from going out. “Isn’t the whole point of cultivation to kill demons? I’ve even wondered if I could raise demons as gu worms, or at least feed them to my gu worms. Hehe!” The demons who might end up as food later on (in danger!) Despite the warnings, Sang Ling sneaks out when she gets the chance. “Beautiful big world, here I come!” As she travels around, she comes across a village under attack by demons, where Meng Xiangu and the others are busy slaying them. Sang Ling’s first thought is, “These demons are awful! They don’t even spare old grannies!” Then: “Wow! Granny’s so cool! I love her! I want to follow her and kill demons together!” By a stroke of luck, Meng Xiangu takes Sang Ling in and brings her back to Dongning Prefecture. Later, Sang Ling meets Meng Chuan, Liu Qiyue, and the others. Oh, and there’s also that annoying white-haired guy, Yan Jin, who loves arguing with her. Yan Jin: “Who are you calling an annoying white-haired guy?” Sang Ling: “Nyeh!”
