Li Zhu is strong and knows her wild greens, making her the farming team’s “muscle.” Su Wan is well-read and good with accounts, the “strategist” handling logistics. The two friends get along without a hint of jealousy and work together to help Lin Yue start farming.
Starting with three mu of rice paddies, Lin Yue draws on the survival know-how he gained in the apocalypse to improve farm tools and optimize cultivation. He learns to grow rice, wheat, potatoes, tomatoes, and more, and sets up vegetable gardens, orchards, and livestock farms. He even builds a simple greenhouse to grow out-of-season vegetables. He buys land like mad, expanding from scattered plots to a thousand-mu estate, and from a humble earthen hut to a cozy home, steadily building a farming kingdom of his own.
