When My Novel Started Writing About Me

Mystery, horror, metafiction, characters awakening, cursed rules, modern urban legends, and chilling details that get worse the more you think about them. A curse that begins in a document. A revenge that crosses dimensions. When you write her ending, your story already bears her name. Failed novelist Zhou Yan has a dark habit: in every novel, he tortures a minor character named “Lin Wan” to death. Until one day, he sees a line of bloody text in his document: “This time, I’ll write your story.” The next second, a new chapter appears on its own: “Chapter One: The Hack Writer Who Burned to Death.” Outside his window, the gas stove begins to leak… When editor Daozi hears of Zhou Yan’s death, a document arrives in his QQ messages, sent offline. As Daozi clicks it open with trembling hands, the cursor at the end of the document begins to move by itself. The chapter title changes to: “Chapter Two: Suffocated Beneath the Gaze of Millions.” Suddenly, the air around him is filled with countless watching eyes and malicious whispers… This is more than revenge. It is a work of “creation” that uses reality as paper and fear as ink. From the author consumed by flames, to the editor turned into a “host,” to countless nodes quietly “infected” across the internet… No one can escape the reach of Lin Wan’s pen. Whose tombstone will bear her final signature?
