Elpis means hope, but Amphoreus has no need for hope, so she was never needed to survive in the first place.
Sickly from birth and destined to die young, her life ended at the very beginning of the story.
All she could do was watch her childhood friends repeatedly sacrifice their lives to save the world, staking everything to save Amphoreus, which was doomed to be sacrificed.
After thirty million cycles, it all finally gained meaning. The true savior arrived, Amphoreus was saved, the Iron Curtain never came to be, and all their efforts had mattered. In the end, it became a romantic story.
At the end of time, cherish everything.
Yet the world still had hope. In a forgotten corner of the story, an overlooked existence became the key.
And so Elpis, who should never have existed, received the one stroke of good fortune in her life: a chance to save the frozen world and her childhood friends.
Against the current of time, she must return to the very beginning of the story and find the power to save Bai E.
An original female protagonist. The story will move backward through the timeline all the way to Herta Space Station, the player's starting point, before finally returning to Amphoreus. Bai E is the sole male lead.
This story follows the ending where Xilian ascends and freezes the world. Just before the world is frozen, Elpis, who has always been overlooked, emerges as its only chance. Xilian is on the verge of ascending and no longer has the strength to start over, so Elpis returns to the past and tries to change the ending by moving backward through time.
