The Wrong Way to Become a Navy King

When I opened my eyes, I found myself being hauled out of the sea by the future Marine hero Garp. I knew then that I had gotten the wrong script for my life.

I transmigrated into the world of One Piece with no System and no cheat, only the all-knowing perspective in my head on the tragic future to come. Looking at the young Luffy, Ace, and Sabo before me, I had only one thought: To hell with fate! I have to beat destiny by half a move in the Paramount War.

So I became their fourth brother. We fought together in the forests of Mount Colubo and trained together under Garp's "Fist of Love." I guided them as they grew stronger, reshaped the Six Powers with modern knowledge, and used my foresight to steer them clear of deadly dangers. When Sabo no longer lost his memory, Ace put his regrets behind him, and Luffy's basic skills far surpassed those in the original story, I knew history had veered off course.

They longed for the freedom of the sea, but I chose a harder path. I joined the Marines, rising from a new recruit at Headquarters to a force to be reckoned with across the Grand Line. Armament Haki tore through steel, Observation Haki glimpsed the future, and when the Conqueror's Haki that could rule the world burst from me, all of Marineford trembled. Marine Admiral: it was the only position from which I could change everything.

Marineford Square. The execution platform was within reach. Sengoku glared at me, and Akainu seethed with murderous intent. But I calmly adjusted the brim of my hat and looked at Ace, who grinned at me from the platform, and at Luffy beside me, battered but resolute.

"Today," my voice rang across the square, "there are no heroes and no criminals. There's only an older brother here to take his little brother home."
