Lin Ran, a web-novel editor, transmigrates into the leveling fantasy she had just criticized and becomes Lin Qingqian, a cannon-fodder female character. She is bound to the “Sycophant System” and must play the adoring fool in front of the male lead, Gu Junlin, or be electrocuted or erased. To stay alive, Lin Ran is forced into full-on melodrama.
