Mr. Lu, Your Green Tea Is Trouble

[Two female leads + pure love + equally matched power couple + devoted romance + Hong Kong style and powerful families]

[Financial tycoon from Haishi as the pursuer & gentle, sweet Miao woman as the pursued]

On a stormy night, Shen Qing crashed into Lu Qingye's Maybach.

Soaked through, she clutched her resume like a stubborn little sprout.

Lu Qingye leaned against the car door and laughed softly in Cantonese, which Shen Qing couldn't understand. “Want to pay for the car? Come find me at this address. Don't disappear on me.”

Shen Qing didn't understand Cantonese, but she understood the danger and challenge in Lu Qingye's eyes.

She moved into Lu Qingye's villa, learning how she spoke, how she acted, and how to read people at the casino.

Lu Qingye taught her to roll dice and stand by her principles, but she couldn't teach her how not to love her.

Then rumors spread and photos were doctored. For the first time, Lu Qingye lost control. “Why didn't you tell me you were meeting him?”

Shen Qing backed away, eyes red. “Lu Qingye, you don't trust me either?”

Later, a financial crisis swept through the Lu family, pushing them to the brink of bankruptcy.

Standing by her side, Shen Qing addressed all the shareholders in fluent Cantonese: “She and I will face this together.”

Later still, the biggest casino in Haishi was booked out for the occasion.

Lu Qingye dropped to one knee and asked in a trembling voice, in Cantonese:

“I'll wager every bit of my luck for one answer from you: ‘I do.’”

From not understanding a word of Cantonese to learning an entire language of love for her.
