Karasuma Yu feels like someone’s got him cornered.
All he did was help someone who seemed to have been knocked unconscious and was about to be dumped in Yokohama Bay. He never expected things to start going wrong after that.
Figuring he might as well see the good deed through, he invited the person to dinner. By the end of the meal, he’d made a new friend.
When his new friend introduced himself as Edogawa Ranpo, Karasuma Yu’s right eye twitched.
What? The left eye twitching means good luck, and the right means bad luck?
Karasuma Yu: ...My master says I’m too young to be this superstitious.
Distracted by the catlike charm of his new friend, Karasuma Yu only realized what was going on when he and Ranpo were caught by the Karasuma family.
He’d been on his way back to Karasuma Manor, but had taken a detour to Yokohama to escape a mission!
Help! He doesn’t want to go back! What difference would it make if one hardworking person was missing?
His grandfather, Karasuma Renya, reassures him: “Good boy.”
The Silver Bullet Squad
Vermouth, sighing: “Oh my, back then, everyone in the Silver Bullet Squad was a model employee except me.”
Gin, looking over a report: “Spiatus took Cointreau on vacation? We haven’t given them enough assignments.”
The protagonist kills members of the good guys’ side, though not all of them die. Some of the good guys go dark, and the original story gets turned upside down.
The protagonist works hard so he can slack off more easily. That’s the excuse he gives himself. He’s also mentally ill, and mentally ill people are unpredictable.
There’s a plotline where an Organization member goes undercover in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.
The cases are pretty slapdash because I don’t know how to write them.
Extremely OOC, lots of headcanon, and a chaotic timeline. The author is thin-skinned.
