Liu Xiaofan, an insurance salesman who is as ordinary as dust, automatically installed an APP called "Life Optimizer" after his phone was struck by lightning. This APP has only one function: to push a "precise notice of his death in the next 24 hours" on time every morning, and attach a short video that looks like a B-level horror movie trailer (the style is sometimes scary, sometimes nonsensical). In order to survive, he must find a way out based on these "trailers" that are full of loopholes like a puzzle game. In the process, he discovered that this APP was connected to a higher-dimensional "narrative layer" and that the "death" he was avoiding was actually a "script" written by a certain "god" for fun. Liu Xiaofan decided not only to survive, but also to find this "screenwriter" and change his life script into a Happy Ending.
