You Asked Me to Read Fortunes, So Why Are You Livestreaming a Mental Health Clinic?

[Daoist Livestreams + Psychological Counseling + Comedy and Shenanigans + No Self-Righteous Savior] [Also known as: Daoist, Is Everything a Good Thing When You Put It That Way?] After ten years on the mountain, Mo Feng was ordered by his master to descend and offer guidance to the people. He came up with a different approach and tried something new. He earned a certificate in psychological counseling, opened a clinic, and started livestreaming on Douyin. “Master, times have changed.” “Nowadays, we don’t need to go looking for people. They’ll come looking for us.” Mo Daoist’s livestream room soon became a place where everything was good news. Viewer One was in agony: “Daoist, I feel awful. My father has cancer...” Mo Feng: “That’s good news! The cancer won’t outlast your dad!” Viewer Two was on the verge of a breakdown: “Do I have to go to prison if I want to stay alive?” Mo Feng: “That’s good news! Prison provides food and lodging, and you’ll have a chance to turn over a new leaf!” Viewer Three looked utterly hopeless: “Daoist! I think my partner’s cheating on me. I want to die!” Mo Feng: “Oh my goodness, what great news! You’re about to live the good life!” Viewer Four looked terrified: “Daoist, I think I’ve seen a ghost.” Mo Feng raised an eyebrow. “Good news. I’ll read your fortune right now.” “But Daoist, couldn’t you use your expertise to exorcise it?” Mo Feng’s expression turned serious. “What nonsense are you talking about? You have to believe in science!”
