Special investigator Allison Graham disguises himself as a psychiatrist and infiltrates the high-security Blackstone Prison in an attempt to understand and profile Kane Wolfe, a serial killer sentenced to life in prison. However, the mission quickly spirals out of control, and Kane plans and leads a bloody riot, deliberately involving Ellison in it. In the process of survival, Cain used extreme violence and psychological manipulation to systematically strip Ellison of his original morality, identity and beliefs. He was forced to participate in violence, pick locks, and even indirect killings.
