Embers of the Eerie Night

The world is divided into the human realm and the eerie realm. The barrier that once kept them apart has broken, and corrosive eerie energy is pouring into the human world, spawning all kinds of monsters and making life harder for humanity.

Chu Jin is an exorcist who specializes in fighting monsters. After a desperate battle, a mysterious Flame Emblem brings him back to life, but he becomes an outcast, neither fully human nor fully eerie, with no heartbeat. He must evade the humans who hunt him because they don’t understand what he is, while suppressing the eerie energy growing stronger inside him. His only choice is to search far and wide for a way to cleanse himself completely.

Along the way, he gathers the other two mysterious emblems capable of balancing the world and fights the Dark Moon Society, an evil organization bent on letting the eerie realm swallow the human world. Exorcists from the Sakura Kingdom, his comrades in Yancheng such as Jiang Li, and others gradually become his allies as they cross borders and endure one fierce battle after another.

Chu Jin doesn’t know whether he’ll ultimately become a monster or gather all three emblems, become humanity’s hope, and put an end to this disaster spreading across the globe.
