The Apocalypse Remade Me, and Now I'm a God

[Betrayal] [Helplessness] [Confusion] [Transformation] [Ascension to godhood]

On Christmas Day, everything on the streets seems wonderful. Then suddenly, a roar sounds in the distance, and a horde of zombies attacks the crowds celebrating the holiday.

Desperate to survive, everyone flees in a panic, even shoving others aside to buy themselves time.

When they take shelter in a building and wait for the military to rescue them, they discover that after a whole night, the military still hasn’t come. The zombies seem to have vanished overnight, too, and a thick fog blankets the entire city.

The survivors begin scavenging nearby shopping malls for supplies to improve their chances of survival.

Then something gray and black starts falling from the sky. At first, people don’t react much when it lands on them, assuming it’s just dust.

But when the dust touches someone’s skin, their body begins to mutate, and everyone realizes it’s not as harmless as it looks.

The dust doesn’t affect everyone. Those who remain unaffected start disappearing one after another. When they reappear, they have superhuman abilities and begin slaughtering ordinary people on a massive scale.

Even the military’s weapons can’t destroy them.

The protagonist is transformed as well, but he hasn’t forgotten who he used to be. He starts helping humanity hunt down the transformed, while even more transformed people awaken and rise up against the aliens.
