Also known as From Lines to Your Silhouette
That night, just before dawn, I finished the final stroke.
On the screen was the line-art puppy I'd designed, round and cute, with pure eyes.
“Good night,” I told it.
Then I heard a soft, questioning “Woof?” behind me.
My creation, a two-dimensional life made of code and lines, had broken through the dimensional barrier and arrived in my world.
It became her, a miracle who rubbed against my palm, depended on me, and protected me.
I named her Jian Jian.
I thought I had a one-of-a-kind adorable pet.
Until, beneath the moonlight, she transformed in my arms into a young woman and gazed at me with eyes so pure they seemed untouched by the world. Stumbling over the words, she called me, “Master...”
Only then did I understand: what I'd awakened was a “concept” that even the gods couldn't define.
What I never expected was that Jian Jian's existence would be like a stone tossed into still water, its ripples spreading all the way to the sea of stars...
The ancient legacy of “Spirit Drawing,” tech giants coveting extraordinary powers, “Echo” signals from the stars, and a cosmic threat lurking in the shadows...
Our cozy everyday life turned out to be the starting point of a storm sweeping across the entire known universe.
And I have to clutch the mysterious chip in my hand and take her hand in mine.
For her, and for our world, we must fight our way to a future on the twin battlefields of the city and the sea of stars.
From lines to your silhouette, from my world to our sea of stars.
The plot arrangement is compact, but you don't feel particularly anxious. It's the kind of story that is told in a eloquent way! I like the daily life of Gu Yan and Jian Jian very much. They are warm and full of care and love for each other. The growth of the characters is also well controlled. Jian Jian was ignorant at the beginning and then slowly understood the world. When Jian Jian's core gradually stabilized, she suddenly felt like my daughter has just grown up. It's beautiful and can be read as a bedtime book. It's not too long (big cheers to the author [blowing kisses])
