Wearing Her Wedding Dress

For the views, I went to livestream from the legendary haunted village.

The village elders said that at midnight, you mustn’t look back, answer anyone, or look into the well.

I scoffed and deliberately took a selfie by the well at midnight. “Fans, see any female ghosts?”

Suddenly, a woman in a red wedding dress appeared behind me in the frame.

The livestream went viral in an instant, but I could never turn off my phone again.

The comments raced across the screen: “Turn around! Who’s behind you?”

And the woman in red was slowly combing my hair, stroke by stroke, as she faced the camera.
