[Dragons] [Magic] [Alternate Civilization] [Life & Adventure]
One day, just before breaking out of his shell, Karil received the memories his father had passed on to him. He went on to live an ordinary life at the academy, making all kinds of friends, encountering all sorts of species, and following the script his father had laid out for him.
Then a carefully planned scheme by his own kind took his friend away, leaving him so anxious that even the tip of his tail burned. He could think of nothing but getting stronger.
His only hope was the mysterious blue-scaled dragon, but the other dragon merely pointed and said, “Go over there.”
Unfortunately, everything in the great city cost money. He tried delivering takeout for dragons and looking after little dragons, but he still couldn’t earn enough.
With no other choice, he gritted his teeth and began performing at an upscale restaurant. Just like that, his life as a dragon strayed from the ordinary path his father had envisioned.
Every day, he thought about how, once he had enough money, fulfilled the blue-scaled dragon’s demands, and rescued his friend, he would make that dragon pay!
The style is similar to the visual novel adventure game Angels With Scaly Wings.
A cozy slice-of-life story. Most of the characters are carbon-based life forms: afraid of everything and liable to break at the slightest touch.
