The System Leads Me to Wealth Through Fishing tells the story of Lin Yu, an ordinary young man who hits rock bottom in life before unexpectedly activating the “Fishing to Wealth System” and setting out to change his fate through sea fishing.
After graduating from college and struggling to find work, Lin Yu returns to Binhai City and worries about making ends meet, until the System opens up a new path for him. Starting with his first crucian carp caught among the nearshore reefs, he gradually makes a name for himself in the fishing world with the System's precise guidance: locating schools of fish, recommending bait, and telling him when to reel in. After getting a taste of success, he is no longer content with fishing near shore. He sails into the deep sea in pursuit of bigger catches, then enters the National Fishing Tournament. Once dismissed as an untrained amateur, he grows into a dark horse runner-up and makes his name ring throughout the fishing world.
