Nine Abyssal Fiends

In the depths of the Netherworld, above the Azure Clouds.

The young Lu Chen awakens from the Reincarnation Pool with a Chaos Spirit Root and the core of the stars in his grasp, only to be swept into a shocking conspiracy spanning the realms of humans and demons. Under Currents swirl within the Azure Cloud Sect, baleful energy surges through the Ninefold Abyss, and a hundred lifetimes of reincarnation in the Hall of Rebirth reveal the causes and consequences of his past life.

When the Netherworld Cult Master tears open the void and the Stargrave Demon Whale devours the light of heaven, Lu Chen stands atop the Azure Clouds, his sword pointed at the Netherworld.

He offers his body as a sacrifice to kindle the flames of chaos, and uses his soul as a guide to reforge the stars of the cosmos. Will this fated clash between light and darkness burn away every evil across the heavens, or bury the last glimmer of hope?

Beneath the Netherworld and the Azure Clouds, all are pieces on a board. But who is the one moving them?
