Su Jiuyan, a spirit patrol guard with the Spirit-Warding Bureau, unexpectedly obtains the Winter-Silence Bone Jade, drawing her into a battle to protect the human realm, the spirit world, and the Sunken Abyss Sea. From the Nightmare Force contamination in the crevasse of Mistveil Village to the schemes of remnant souls in the rift at Blackwind Valley, she joins forces with companions like Lin Yan and Lin Wei. Together, they unite Shadow Walkers, the Flame Clan, the Horse Clan, and the Sea Clan to form an alliance of the three realms, gradually collecting the four bone jades: Winter-Silence, Autumn-Fall, Summer-Scorch, and Spring-Life.
Just as the core remnant souls are cleansed and the three realms find a brief moment of peace, a surprise attack by shadows from the Mechanical Realm shatters the calm. Using metallic spirit veins to corrupt the core of the spirit veins, they seek to open a passage between realms. Su Jiuyan leads the alliance in forging weapons with holy fire to counter them and uses the resonance of the spirit veins to fight the mechanical army. She also establishes a shared spirit-vein repository to pass down defensive techniques.
From the Nightmare Force crisis to a war across realms, from fighting alone to all the clans standing together, the bone jades are not only keys to protecting the spirit veins, but also symbols of the bonds between the three realms. The lingering signal fluctuations from the Mechanical Realm also foretell that this battle to protect worlds across dimensions will never end.
Beautiful, highly recommended
