In the busyness and hustle and bustle of modern cities, six young people with different backgrounds met unexpectedly through an underground band recruitment and became members of the 'Melody Band'. Music connects them with each other and becomes a weapon to fight against reality. They faced family pressure, life difficulties, emotional entanglements and industry darkness, and they grew up through music and healed through each other. Through the perspective of group portraits, the story depicts their respective growth, friendship network, family bonds, love budding and loss, as well as their understanding of themselves and the world on the road to artistic ideals. Under the tone of humor and warmth, music becomes a bridge for urban young people to break boundaries, pursue dreams and self-salvation.
