Kui Mulang was demoted to the earth for being contemptuous of people's hearts. He went through four tribulations to realize the way of heaven. His encounters with four prophets along the way were the key to overcoming his tribulations.
In the first calamity, I met Gui Guzi during the Warring States Period and watched the stars together at Yunmeng Mountain. Seeing Gui Guzi enlighten Su Qin and Zhang Yi with the wisdom of "observing the opening and closing of yin and yang", Kui Mulang first understood that "prophecy is not an instruction, but a mirror for observing the situation", and broke the obsession of "knowing and speaking falsely". In the second calamity, he met Guo Pu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty and explored Jinniu Mountain together. Witnessing Guo Pu's theory of "The Burial Sutra" predicting that "Jiangdong will be divided into kings for three hundred years", but he was killed because he blocked Wang Dun's rebellion. He realized that "compliance is not a bystander, and forceful rebellion goes against nature" and overcame the mistake of "doing without restraint".
In the third calamity, he worked with Li Chunfeng in the Taishi Bureau in the Tang Dynasty. Seeing that Li Chunfeng was imprisoned due to the prediction of "Li Xing of the Wu Dynasty" in "Tuibei Tu", Kui Mulang chose to keep silent, finally understanding that "knowing but not speaking is the wisdom of guarding the heart." In the fourth calamity, they met Shao Yong of the Song Dynasty and avoided the Jin soldiers together in Xiangyang. After reading Shao Yong's "You and Qiao Wen Dui" that "fate is determined by oneself", he thoroughly understood that fate is not determined by the stars, but is actually the sum of human choices. After four encounters, the star officer finally lost his arrogance and returned to his place with the fireworks of the world.
