The Mad Buddha Descends, and Demons Are Forbidden to Roam

People worship the Buddha, while the Buddha sits high above the clouds, looking coldly down on human suffering.

With demons and monsters running rampant, I’ll become a mad Buddha and protect life through killing!

After transmigrating as Ji Gong, also known as Daoji, I awaken the [Karmic Pot of the Mortal World].

From then on, religious precepts are a joke, and my monk’s robes are nothing but a disguise for a love of wine and meat.

I roam a world in chaos, reciting no scriptures, only settling debts and repaying kindness.

The well-dwelling ghost’s grievance? I drink it down! It becomes [Prajna’s Clear Spring] and opens my heavenly eye!

The seamstress’s hatred? I swallow it! It is forged into the [Blood Lotus Kasaya] to protect my golden body!

The thousand-year-old tree demon’s power? I absorb it! It brews into [Karmic Fire Liquor] and burns across the eight directions!

They call me a disgrace to Buddhism, a madman who defies the teachings.

I laugh. They don’t understand.

If the Buddha is compassionate, why is the world still so scarred?

In that case, let this mad monk carve out a bright new world with his own two hands!
