I personally believe that the golden elixir is a manifestation of morality, a body within the body (blood body) that carries the innate spirit (heart). Therefore, the Taoist practice of immortality has a conceptual basis.
This book understands yin and yang from a magical perspective, which is fine, but I think it doesn't go far enough into the nature of power. We have it all within ourselves, why do we need to look for it from outside? Everything that exists comes from nothingness. Taoist and magical powers are abilities within the scope of strength. Only the mind that controls the body is sufficiently in line with the great avenue of heaven and earth to carry the vastness of the great avenue of heaven and earth.
