Jiang Mo was a spoiled young master from one of the great families of the Great Zhou, wasting his days in drunken pleasure. Then the sky split open with cracks of yin, and ghosts ran rampant. The living lit yang candles at night to survive. He fell from his horse and died a gruesome death, only to activate the “Yama Patch System.” The worse he died, the more sinister his abilities became! Reattach severed limbs, open the eyes of a ghost: he leveled up by getting beaten. Pretending to be weak, he infiltrated the black market and dug up Cen Wanzhao, a princess from a previous dynasty. She cuts through vicious ghosts like vegetables, sharp-tongued but soft-hearted and fond of acting cute. The two team up to raid tombs and investigate mysteries, seize fate's blessings, and expose dark plots. He's no good-for-nothing. He's an unofficial Yama who gambles his life against death!
