She was later raised by her adoptive father, Jiang Weiguo. She signed with Time Fengjun at 10, returned to China at 12, and debuted as a third-generation soloist at 16. Her adoptive father died when she was 17, and she went abroad and terminated her contract. At 19, she returned to China and signed with Time Fengjun’s film and television division. She played the female lead, Su Qingyan, in When Our Paths Cross Again on the Sea-Rail Line; the Rose in the stage play The Bound Rose; and, at 20, the villain Xu Qing in Crime Scene Sketch 3. She also appeared on the music variety show Music Concert Through Time.
