"I Am Containment: My Anomaly Comes Alive" is an urban fantasy novel that combines system flow, SCP foundation-style containment, light Cthulhu/weird talk elements and wits elements. The protagonist of the story, Gu Zhen, an ordinary archives contractor, accidentally activated a system called the "Catalogue of Distortions of All Things" and was forced to contain various "abnormalities" that followed strange rules into his own body, forming a chaotic "spiritual council."
In order to survive the system's mandatory tasks and abnormal backlash, and to investigate the truth behind his parents' disappearance, Gu Zhen must learn to deal with the pursuit of multiple forces (the ruthless official organization [Silent Bureau], the research-based [Vientiane Society]/[Guixu Group], and the fanatical [Pure Fire Guards]). He formed a fragile alliance with the life-loving and money-grubbing intelligence agent Lao Gui, and used the unique rules of his body's anomalies (such as the [Paradox Alarm Clock] that predicts partial results, and the [Incomplete Hide-and-Seek Ghost] that distorts perception) to outwit every desperate situation.
As the number of abnormalities in his containment increased, Gu Zhen himself became more and more "dehumanized". Not only did he have to fight against external enemies, but he also had to struggle to maintain the order of the "spiritual council" in his mind and defend the final bottom line of humanity under the erosion of madness. The story shows Gu Zhen's step-by-step transformation from a social animal who just wants to return to the ordinary to a "speaker" who can dance on the edge of the rules and use chaos to fight chaos. It is full of survival struggles, wits and puzzles, and the torture of the bottom line of human nature.
