Chen Fan is an orphan who grew up with his grandfather in their old country home. His grandfather was his only family, raising him through years of hardship and sending him off to university.
The Origin of the Inheritance: During the summer break of his first year at university, Chen Fan returned to his hometown to sort through his grandfather’s belongings, not long after his passing. While cleaning the attic of their old house, he accidentally cut his finger on an ancient jade pendant. His blood awakened the pendant, granting him the “Heavenly Talisman Inheritance” sealed within.
