Maya Nobles Academy is a paradise where poor kids feel they have no right even to breathe.
Xu Qingya and Lin Zhiyin, admitted through a special program, are the two people who fit in least. Ostracized, met with cold stares, and trampled like weeds, the two battered girls have only each other to lean on late at night as they tend their wounds.
No one could have imagined that once the gears of fate began to turn, their lives would diverge so completely.
Xu Qingya catches the eye of the former F4, the most powerful group on campus. They openly pursue her, shower her with affection, and protect her beneath their wings every step of the way, making her the envy of all.
Lin Zhiyin, meanwhile, dreams of becoming a dazzling star, but is treated like a pawn abandoned by the plot. The F4 casually hand her over to some nameless extra, and she disappears without a trace.
Ji Yi, who grew up with the F4 and was promised a lifetime with them, changes completely after her coming-of-age ceremony. Sensitive, sharp-tongued, and relentless, she targets Xu Qingya.
What awaits her is not rekindled love, but the F4's thunderous revenge:
Her family goes bankrupt, her reputation is ruined, and she meets a tragic end.
Her close friend Kan Miao returns to seek justice, only to be mercilessly crushed by the F4, already controlled by the plot and indifferent to everyone. They even destroy her family's business, leaving her no choice but to go far away, never to meet again.
On one side is the heroine, adored by a whole group of heartthrobs,
On the other is her best friend, crushed by fate and vanished without a trace,
And then there is the childhood sweetheart, brutally abandoned and left with a tragic fate.
When the F4 lose their reason and the plot spirals out of control,
Who is the chosen girl favored by fate, and who is the pawn destined to be sacrificed?
Meanwhile, in another world, four girls in an ordinary college dorm
have no idea that they are about to be swept into this melodramatic storm…
