I want a story where only the male lead can become emperor, and the female lead is either a princess sent to marry into an enemy kingdom or the legitimate daughter of a noble family in her own country. She can be clever and brave or delicate and fragile. I want plenty of plot about succession struggles and palace intrigue, not just romance.
