I understand the beginning, but not the rest. It's so complicated. All kinds of weapons appear out of nowhere. Doesn't the protagonist need to develop them? There are also so many people's names that it's so confusing that people can't even remember them.

The Northern and Southern Dynasties had universal suffrage and parliament, and they only had one corner of the country. It was really fantastic.
