Imprisoned in the Tang Dynasty

[Don't bother reading, it was abandoned before the ending.] Xu Qian, a history professor, accidentally touches a mysterious stone stele at an archaeological site. His blood splashes across its inscription, and he transmigrates to the Tang frontier, where he's immediately sentenced to beheading!

A death trap from the start? At the very moment the executioner's blade hangs over his neck, he activates the [Military Merit Exchange System]. Food, weapons, elite troops and capable generals are all up for exchange!

But System points can only be earned through victories in battle and economic warfare.

Xu Qian sneers. “I've spent thirty-five years studying the Tang dynasty. How could I fail to master this game?”

He improves farming tools, introduces potatoes, monopolizes the liquor trade, builds an intelligence network, trains a new army, and sets up the Mandarin Duck formation...

Fifty thousand Tibetan cavalry are at the border? The frontier army has thirty thousand old and battered soldiers?

Xu Qian stands atop the city wall, with a thousand recruits he trained himself behind him.

“In this battle, I'll show the whole world that the frontier army isn't a pawn to be thrown away. It's the sharpest blade of the Tang dynasty!”

With the System in hand, the world is mine.

Watch as a mere scholar builds an army of a million cavalry in this iron-blooded age and forges an immortal legend!
